Our Pastor's Testimony
How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
I was saved at the age of twenty-five in the US Air Force while stationed at Eglin AFB, Florida. I was invited to a Baptist Church in Milton, Florida, by my grandparents, and reluctantly went. I attended for a few Sundays, and as the preacher would preach the gospel and give an invitation, I knew I was lost and needed a Savior. On a Saturday in October 2004, I was overwhelmed by my sin and hopelessness. I knew that I deserved Hell, but I saw that God loved me and gave His precious Son Jesus to die on the cross for my sins and then raise from the dead three days later. That day I cried out to the Lord, the best I knew how, and trusted Jesus as my personal Savior. I’m still overwhelmed by the truth that God loves us the way that He does. I want to spend the rest of my life loving and serving the King of Kings.
